Herbert Foster
Herbert Foster has lived in northern New Mexico for over 30 years, often exploring the outdoors by foot, bike, boat or bus (and one hot air balloon). He moved to New Mexico to get his master's degree in Community and Regional Planning, then he continued his career working with Native American communities and local governments in land use planning, historic preservation, and land conservation. His profession as a land use planner gives him a unique perspective on the diverse people and places of Northern New Mexico, all of which he is happy to share during retreats and on the trails.
